Slow release water active tablets

Selenium is a micronutrient that is lacking in many home grown feeds and unless supplementation is used where blood or soil selenic levels are low, animals may suffer adverse effects. Aquasel tablets are designed to release the right dose at the right time.

Symptoms of low selenium levels in cattle include; late abortion, still birth, weak calves at birth, calving problems (retained cleanings, slow calvings), infetility (repeat breeders, silent heat) etc.

Each Aquasel tablet contains 35mg selenium and releases approximately 5mg per day over 7 days. To use: Place one tablet per cow per week inside attached net dispenser. Place dispenser under the waterline of the animals drinking trough. Replace weekly with fresh tablets for the duration of the supplementation. Aquasel tablets retain their shape even after 7 days of use. Each week, the old spent tablets must be replaced with new tablets. Do not use if high levels of selenium supplements are available from other sources.
